And so, the Newstalk/RTÉ Radio roundabout begins. Claire Byrne presented her last morning show before beginning her reign in Newstalk towers. And soon after, Kieran Cuddihy will arrive from yonder place to take on the mantle of Joe Duffy’s Liveline.
After so many years of constancy, some would say stagnancy, RTÉ is in the final throes of clearing out its expensively assembled frontline presenters and replacing them with a new crop.
